Organização civil sem fins lucrativos, a FACTA foi fundada em 10 de agosto de 1989, incorporando e ampliando atividades técnicas e científicas originalmente
desenvolvidas por sua idealizadora e criadora, a APINCO – Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Pintos de Corte.
Tendo como foco principal o fomento e a difusão de novos conhecimentos e tecnologias aplicáveis ao desenvolvimento sustentável da avicultura, a FACTA atende seus objetivos
realizando eventos de atualização técnica, aperfeiçoando mão de obra operacional e técnica por meio de cursos específicos, divulgando conhecimentos avícolas através de
publicações especializadas e estimulando a evolução técnica, científica e tecnológica da atividade pela dotação de prêmios de estímulo.
