Description
MobiCare is a health mobile application that links patients to the right doctors for appropriate consultation and treatment through a convenient appointment
scheduling system. MobiCare offers features such as my facilities which enable the doctors to set their schedules and get a doctor which helps patients to request
appointments from doctors of their preference. MobiCare application sends notifications to both the doctor and the patient when the appointment is due.
Achievements/Awards:
MobiCare application is one of the innovations funded by the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance in the second cohort. The MobiCare application also won $7000 from CAMTech
Accelerator Program that facilitated its feasibility and acceptability study in 5 hospitals of Mbarara Municipality. In December 22, MobiCare was published on Daily Monitor
