Share My Location 3 1.2.4 [free]

A simple program that allows you to share your location with your friends and family. ShareMyLocation3 uses OpenStreetMaps. Shareable link is generated to OpenStreetMaps website, so it doesn't matter what phone or computer the recipient is using. The link can be shared using almost any messaging service, such as WhatsApp or Telegram. USAGE ShareMyLocation3 only has two buttons. Pressing the locate-button will retrieve your location and show it on the map. The share-button will open a dialog to send your location link with compatible Android-applications. IDEOLOGY This app is completely ad-free. I try not to use any services from Google if that is at all possible. I believe that this will lead to a better end result in terms of privacy. Maps are created using OsmDroid and OpenStreetMaps. Location is retrieved without using Google's API. On some occasions not using Google's location services may lead to longer delay when retrieving the location, and the results might not be as accurate when you are inside a building made of stone. PERMISSIONS Newer Android versions will see a screen requesting permissions. This will only be displayed if the permissions are not in order. On older Android-versions this screen does not appear.
