This app is currently in the pilot study and is only accessible to pilot study participants.
The interactive parent training medigital® ADHD/OPP is aimed at parents of children aged 4-11 years with a suspected diagnosis or a confirmed diagnosis of attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and/or a disorder of social behavior with oppositional rule-breaking behavior (OPP) and offers parents comprehensive support based on many years of
experience from recognized experts.
medigital® ADHS/OPP includes numerous short, informative articles, practical instructions and a lot of support to better master everyday family life with the child, to reduce
the child's problems in the family and thus to optimally support the further development of the child. The app can be used as a supplementary measure to other therapies or as a
bridging measure while waiting for an appointment with a specialist or before/between therapy sessions, with the aim of further improving the quality of care.
A training plan is put together individually, based on your own problems and personal needs. Parents are guided through the program step by step and actively supported in
implementing the tips. The following tools are also part of the program:
- Weekly plan: It helps to better structure days and build in buffer times. Thanks to the analysis function, stressful activities can be recognized more quickly so that they can
be consciously changed and, thanks to relaxing activities, a balance can be created.
- Headlight model: Helps to focus on everyday problems and to look at them from different angles.
- Points plan: With the points plan, new habits can be established in everyday family life. It motivates the child with rewards to stick to the jointly established family
rules.
- Rule plan: The rule plan helps to formulate realistic rules and appropriate requests and to set the corresponding positive and natural negative consequences.
- Positive diary: Thanks to the positive diary, you consciously focus on the beautiful experiences with the family. These beautiful memories can be captured with photos and
entries.
- Behavior diary: The behavior diary makes it possible to look at the specific problem behavior over a longer period of time. In this way it can be found out over time what
works best to solve the problems and what progress has already been made in the child's behavior.
- Schedule: This helps to prepare for difficult situations so that you don't lose your head in an emergency.
It is very important that every step in the right direction is an important step. With medigital® AHD/OPP, we are happy to support parents of children with ADHD and/or OPP aged
4-11 on their way.
